AI isn’t just in the background of health conversations anymore — it’s now a major part of how people search for answers.
About one in six adults in the U.S. say they use AI chatbots at least once a month for health information and advice, rising to one in four adults under 30 who do the same [H1].
At the same time, the global market for generative AI in healthcare is growing fast — from USD 1.7 billion in 2023 to a projected USD 14.8 billion by 2030, with a rapid compound annual growth rate of over 36% [H2].
But popularity doesn’t always mean people understand what they’re getting.
And this is why the buzz has become so strong:
